Healthy Relationships

MISSION

Our mission is to offer hope, support, validation and 'sisterly' love for the warriors united in a common cause. We created a public FB page & Instagram page for the sole purpose of: Empowering Women, Protecting all Children, and to Promote Healing.

BRAVE: Women Empowering Women. #brave #bebrave #empower #beempowered Empowered women lift each other up, offer hope, support, and validation. BRAVE: W.E.W. also invite men to the table; men who are secure with the idea that women and children are equally deserving of: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Women and children are born with the inherent right to be FREE from oppression. #hearus #seeus #liftusup Join us and help us to advance the #ustoo and #wetoo movement.

HOW WE HELP

Trauma is one of the leading causes of addiction, and sexual abuse is one of the most common causes of trauma. Whether it’s a one-time traumatic case of rape or assault or a prolonged chronic pattern of abuse from a trusted relative, sexual abuse causes a variety of long-term issues and can make it incredibly difficult to form healthy relationships and function properly in other areas of life. It’s long been a reality that sexual abuse increases the risk of addiction, a correlation that the National Institute on Drug Abuse has been reporting for decades. Treatment for addiction caused by trauma related to sexual addiction as well as the immediate dependency issues.

Crisis Intervention

HOW WE HELP

Research And Advocacy Institute of Gilgit Baltistan (RAIGB) is a non-profit organization that has been serving communities globally since 2013. Our focus is to uplift the needs of marginalized communities in the areas of education, medical assistance, crisis response/disaster relief, and environment. We believe in interventions that are culturally specific and trauma-informed, that can bring about sustainable change to local communities while empowering them. RAI GB was started by Husain Nagri, who has been a social worker since his younger age. In 2013, Hussain conceived of the idea and started working on it with the help of community and friends, a task he and his wife continued together after their union in 2015. Together, they worked hard on a vision that would later formalize into RAI GB. In the first year, they sponsored the 18 kids at various private schools in Nagar and then started career counseling in these schools as well. In 2016, RAI GB got officially registered under the Voluntary Welfare Organizations Ordinance, 1961, of the act of the Government of Pakistan in Gilgit City, with a registered office in District Nagar Gilgit Baltistan. RAI GB mostly provides direct services to various communities throughout Gilgit-Baltistan. In 2021, RAI GB got registered in the United States under 501(c)(3) with a registered office in Houston. We continue to work towards our mission of serving marginalized communities in various sectors. Our efforts include building capacity for education medical aid, crisis response, disaster relief, and the environment. We are a trauma informed, culturally specific organization that looks to empower individuals and create a positive impact in their lives.

MISSION

Gina works one-on-one, consulting with clients from around the world involved in child custody cases. Her two main areas of focus are court-ordered co-parenting communication and child custody strategy in cases involving DV (Coercive Control). Gina also has established a collaboration with Factimize Pattern Viewer, consulting with their clients. Additionally, the Family Law division of the San Joaquin County District Court (California, USA), has paired with Gina to present to Family Court personnel, and to work with litigating parties in communication coaching, supervised visitations, and court-appointed special advocacy. Gina has a passion to take her extensive working knowledge to affect change through data driven research.

Gina has a bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on Political Economy from California State University Stanislaus; she holds several certificates in mental health, and has been trained by the Judicial Council of California. She is also a domestic violence/coercive control survivor of a 13-year marriage. She escaped in 2019 and was able to secure primary custody of her two daughters, ages 14 and 11.

Gina's most popular service is real-time communication coaching. She answers the texts or calls of her clients, night and day, in an effort to assist them in dealing with abusive communications from their court-ordered co-parent.
