Kate Amber MSc is the Founder & Chief Visionary Officer of End Coercive Control USA (ECCUSA) and creator of The Quicksand Model™ of Coercive Control, a model for quickly and effectively training professionals in the dynamics of coercive control. ECCUSA offers speaking, training, consulting, assessment, and expert witness testimony in coercive control, domestic abuse/violence, and child protection. She holds a Master of Science in the Psychology of Coercive Control, an ADA Advocacy Certification, a post-graduate certification in Executive Leadership in Violence & Abuse Prevention, a Special Certification for Family Court Professionals, has completed the Safe & Together CORE training at the intersection of child abuse and domestic violence, has extensive training in trauma and recovery, and is currently completing a Certification in Child Protection. A survivor and researcher, Kate Amber is committed to returning to survivors the dignity, liberty, safety and freedom stolen from them by coercive controllers and unhelpful system responses.
